Description

Polarisation potential meter IPP 1 "Mendeleevets" is designed for measuring DC voltage and strength. The device is used to measure protective (with ohmic component) and polarisation (without ohmic component) potentials of underground structures under cathodic protection. The method of polarisation potential measurement is switching (disconnection) of the auxiliary electrode according to GOST 9.602. Potential measurements are carried out at specially equipped control and measuring points (CMP), with installed copper-sulphate reference electrode (measuring electrode "IE") and electrochemical potential sensor (auxiliary electrode "AE").
