They help to make training comfortable and safe. At competitions during the bench press the safety stops for the barbell should be installed in a mandatory manner, but when performing squats to avoid injuries and loss of balance by the athlete should be removed.The ability to install safety stops at a great height allows you to do special barbell presses with limited amplitude and significant weights.
