Optical communication cable is designed for transmission of digital communication signals, it is used for laying in soils of 1-3 groups, in cable ducts, blocks, inside buildings, tunnels, collectors with high requirements to mechanical properties of the cable. The cable has a modular optical core consisting of a central power element around which optical modules and other elements (if necessary) are twisted, the total number of optical fibres in the cable is up to 144 pieces. The intramodule space is filled with hydrophobic filler along the entire length of the cable. The inner sheath is made of polymeric materials. The protective cover of the cable consists of a strand of steel wires and an outer sheath of polymeric materials
