Optical Communication Cable KOS-OKG-DV for Reliable Telecommunications

The optical communication cable KOS-OKG-DV is intended for application on the unified telecommunication network of the Russian Federation. Backbone armoured multi-modular cable is used for laying in cable ducts, collectors and tunnels, pipes, blocks, mines, on bridges and trestles, at the risk of damage by rodents, between buildings and structures. It has a central power element made of a fibreglass rod, around which optical modules with fibre produced in the territory of the Eurasian Economic Union member states are twisted. A hydrophobic gel is applied to the optical modules along their entire length. The intermediate sheath made of polymer material is covered with a protective cover made of corrugated steel tape. The outer sheath is made of UV-resistant polyethylene.
