NEUTRON SEARCH DEVICE OF "KSAR1U.06" FAMILY

Neutron search devices KSAR1U.060 and KSAR1U.061 (hereinafter referred to as NSD), according to TU 26.30.60-527-23151859-2017, are designed to register thermal, intermediate and fast neutrons of the spontaneous fission spectrum in order to search, localise neutron sources, as well as for identification (determining the type of neutron source) in the version KSAR1U.061.
NSD can be used for effective search and localisation of neutron sources - nuclear materials (NM) and radioactive substances (RS), and also as an auxiliary means for verification of alarm signals generated by stationary radiation monitoring systems
The device provides:
-estimation of the equivalent dose rate of gamma and neutron radiation;
-indication of count rate at registration of neutron radiation;
-production of vibro, light, sound signals when the count rate of neutron radiation exceeds the set threshold.
