Description
The main purpose of switchboards is to receive electricity from the substation. Then there is a distribution of electric current to all power lines of the electrical network, laid on this object, through which the reception and distribution of electricity in the building or some of its parts.
The switchboards are designed to receive and distribute electricity (accounting is also possible) in alternating current networks with separated earth and neutral (connection to networks with deaf-earthed neutral (earthing type TN-C, TN-S, TN-C-S) is possible), to protect lines in case of overloads, leakages and short circuits.
