MIDA-12P Pressure Sensors for Continuous Measurement of Liquids and Gases

The MIDA-12P pressure sensors are designed for continuous conversion of overpressure values of liquids and gases, non-aggressive to the materials of contacting parts (titanium alloys and corrosion-resistant steel), into a unified DC signal or DC voltage in pressure monitoring and control systems, including those in the food industry. The sensors are based on strain-gauge pressure transducers, which use strain gauges made of heteroepitaxial structures "silicon on sapphire" (SOS). The measured medium can be gases with liquid and solid inclusions, viscous liquids, including polymer melts, for which the presence of a socket with a closed receiving cavity is unacceptable. In them the measured pressure is supplied to the open receiving diaphragm, which is welded to the strain gauge body and connected by a rod to the metal diaphragm.
