MICROPROCESSOR-BASED CONTROL REGULATOR OF ESP FEED UNITS MEPHIS-03

Microprocessor regulator MEFIS-03 is a controller of high-voltage converters for power supply of electrostatic precipitators. It has the latest element base and modern software, allowing to increase the efficiency of ESP operation at any modes. The controller is designed for direct installation on the unit, its installation at the substation is allowed. In autonomous mode, it maintains the optimum value of current and the period of current pulses, which ensures the minimum possible discharge from the ESP. In the current limiting mode, a reduction in power consumption is achieved by automatically switching to the half-pulse mode. Remote control of the regulator is possible either by means of digital inputs and analogue outputs or by means of RS 485 communication bus. If a dust sensor is installed, control of the regulator by means of an upper-level control system can significantly reduce power consumption at variable ESP loading.
