Methanol Tank Car for Efficient Transportation - Model 15-6880-01

The new generation tank wagon is characterised by improved technical and economic characteristics compared to the analogues on the market.

Boiler volume is increased up to 88 m³ for model 15-6880 and up to 94 m³ for model 15-6880-01 (+2,5 m³ / +8,5 m³ in comparison with analogues) while maintaining the typical length of the wagon, which allowed to increase loading into the tank. The boiler design with "broken" axis allows to achieve maximum fullness of discharge. Significant competitive advantage of the 15-6880 and 15-6880-01 wagons is the increased time between overhaul runs, which provides almost 3 times reduction of the life cycle cost of the wagon.
