Caustic and Chemical Cargo Tank Car, Model 15-6900 - Ideal for Transporting Chemicals

The new generation tank wagon with a low-alloy steel boiler for transporting a wide range of chemical cargoes has no analogues in the CIS.

Equipping the wagon with a running gear with increased axle load and a boiler volume of 54.5 m³ provide increased load capacity of 73 tonnes (+5 tonnes compared to typical models). Application of special solutions in the design allows to avoid freezing of cargo during transportations in the cold season at temperatures up to -40C°. A significant competitive advantage of the 15-6900 model wagon is the extended time between overhauls, which ensures almost 3 times reduction of the life cycle cost of the wagon. The car service life is 32 years.
