A non-sterile filter mask covering the human nose and mouth, designed to limit airborne transmission of infectious agents during situations that pose a public health risk (e.g., influenza pandemic). It is also used during surgical interventions, medical procedures, analyses, and in other settings where hygiene regulations require the wearing of masks. This is a single-use product.Masks are a combined product consisting of outer layers (layer in contact with the external environment and layer in contact with the face) made of Spunbond nonwoven material and an intermediate layer made of Meltblown nonwoven material, with a nasal retainer.

In the centre of the mask there are three unilateral folds for easy communication.
