Description

Sensors tachometric MED-1 are designed to measure the speed of rotation. The sensors are used as part of protection and control systems of units of electric power plants and other industrial facilities. Sensors provide:

- measurement of rotation frequency of a gear wheel made of ferromagnetic material;
formation of current pulses according to the "open collector" scheme;
generation of current pulses in the range of 4 - 20 mA.

Power supply of sensors by DC voltage (10-20) V, current consumption:

- for MED-1, MED-1-D versions not more than 40mA;
for MED-1T, MED-1T-D versions not more than 6mA.

The frequency range of generated pulses is from 2 to 15500 Hz. The limits of permissible relative error of rotation frequency measurements are ± 0,1 %.
