Laboratory apparatus for the study of gravity deposition process (PAHP-OSST)

Study of the process of deposition of solid particles under the action of gravity. List of works to be carried out on the training stand:
- Familiarisation with the process of deposition of spherical shaped particles in liquid medium under the action of gravity.
- Experimental determination of sedimentation rate in liquids depending on particle size and physical properties of particles and liquid.
- Experimental determination of the constant of the basic sedimentation equation.
- Experimental determination of sedimentation coefficients.
- Plotting of experimental dependences Re = f(Ar) and Ly = f(Ar) for different sedimentation modes.
- Comparison of calculated and theoretical dependences wos=f(d).
