Intramedullary Locking Fixator SintelKom Conical 02/14-O for Bone Osteosynthesis

The lockable intramedullary conical fixator is designed for intramedullary lockable osteosynthesis in the treatment of injuries and diseases of the upper and lower extremities. Metaepiphyseal fractures of tubular bones, prevention of pathological fractures of periarticular section of tubular bones, surgical treatment of acquired and congenital deformities of distal sections of lower limbs. Due to the elastic-elastic properties of the fixator, the spiral coils of the spoke are stabilised in the lumen of the medullary canal. Secondary fixation in the bone is possible due to the rough surface of the fixator coating and stabilisation of the opposite end part of the fixator on the bone diaphysis. The design features of the fixator and simple osteosynthesis technique exclude the damage of neurovascular formations, rotator cuff of the shoulder, and implant migration. The titanium dioxide-based coating has the properties of bioinertness and osseointegration.
