Description

Artificial Joints Artificial Joints Sterile implantable main component of a total hip joint prosthesis (acetabular component) for acetabular replacement or reconstruction. The component is a one-piece structure made entirely of polyethylene (polyethylene cap); may include fixation devices (e.g., screws) for attachment to the body. To increase the contact area of the component with the cement mantle, annular grooves are provided on the outer surface.

Metal rings are provided on the outer surface for X-ray inspection of the component positioning at least along the upper and lower shear. Marking of the product diameter. Edge angle of 6°.

Anti-luxation element to ensure stability of the endoprosthesis and prevent dislocation of the head, especially in elderly patients. The angle of elevation of the anti-luxation element is 15°.
