The sterile implantable main component of the total knee endoprosthesis is designed to articulate the femoral and tibial components of the knee endoprosthesis in primary or revision bicondylar knee replacements, and is available in fixed and rotational versions. Each of the variants has 5 standard sizes, each of which has
6 sizes in thickness. The inlays are available in a variety of designs:
- VOM preserved design: standard liner surface with no restrictions,
which is only used with the femoral component in the VKA preserved design;
- Posterior stabilised design: liner with a large central protrusion on the surface for anterior/posterior limitation.
surface for anterior/posterior constraint and resistance to posterior subluxation.
Used only with femoral component in the posterior stabilisation variant.
