Description
A sterile implantable artificial substitute for the femoral head damaged by trauma or disease with a metallic outer surface (e.g. titanium alloy). It attaches to the stem/rod axis or femoral head/stem adapter and articulates with the acetabular endoprosthesis as a component of a total hip replacement or with the bipolar component of a partial hip replacement. The product can be shaped from partially to fully spherical (globular) and is available in various sizes. Laser marking of the diameter and article number of the product.
