The system of fire alarm and automatic fire extinguishing SPST El4-04 for traction rolling stock is designed for early automatic detection of fire, by smoke or temperature increase in protected areas, its prompt registration with the issuance of information to the driver, both about the fire and the malfunction of the system with the indication of the appropriate place, fire extinguishing in automatic mode and manual control mode, as well as timely notification of the duty officer on the depot on the detection of the fire situation via radio channel with the help of the fire alarm system.
