Emulsifier Azol 1016

Azol 1016 in appearance is a homogeneous viscous liquid. Chemical composition is a mixture of alkyl diamines and alkyl polyamines on the basis of higher fatty acids. Solidification temperature is not higher than minus 5°C.

Azol 1016 is used at the installations with preliminary preparation of water solution of emulsifier at production of fast- and medium-decaying bitumen emulsions of EBK-1 and EBK-2 class according to GOST R 52128-2003, containing 50-68% of bitumen and used in road construction for priming, rough surface treatment and injection-jet patching. The use of Azol 1016 as an emulsifier provides active adhesion of emulsions with the surface of crushed stone from ultra-acidic rocks not less than 5 points. When producing emulsion of EBK-1 class the dosage of Azol 1016 emulsifier is 1,8-2,3 kg/t emulsion depending on bitumen content in emulsion.
