Description
The KMC cross-board module is a CPCI bus backplane compliant with the PIGMG 2.0 R3.0 specification. The cross-board is designed to connect modules with CPCI bus interface to it and provide data exchange between bus subscribers.
The cross-board provides:
1) transmission of parallel bus signals for data exchange between CPCI bus subscribers according to the PICMG 2.0 R 3.0 specification;
2) connection to user signals via the rear end connectors of the module;
3) transmission of supply voltages to modules installed in cross-board slots;
4) receiving supply voltages via screw terminals and outputting "Sense" feedback signals via +5V and +3.3V supply circuits to the X4 service connector;;
5) transmission of transit voltages to supply the bus subscribers: +5V, +3.3V, ±12V.
The module is designed for operation as a part of on-board equipment of automatic and automated control systems operating in difficult operating conditions.
