Description

Cosmetic finger prosthesis is designed to compensate for the lost aesthetic parameters of the hand. It consists of an internal mould-forming and external cosmetic shell. The cosmetic shell copies human fingers in shape, colour and surface structure. They are prescribed for patients with defects of the fingers. The prosthesis is an elastic polymer part with a receiving cavity, which is put on the residual limb and held on it due to the elasticity of the material. The prosthesis compensates for a cosmetic defect and allows some functions related to the clamping and holding of non-heavy objects.
