KTPs are suitable for operation in ice-covered conditions with ice thickness up to 20 mm and wind speed up to 15 m/s (with wind speed head 146 Pa), and in the absence of ice - with wind speed up to 36 m/s (with wind speed head up to 800 Pa).

Protection degree of the KTPP shell: IP23 (according to GOST 14254-96).
Number of outgoing lines on the 0,4 kV side: up to 13 (up to 26 if a special LV unit is used).
