Description
Block of braking resistors BTR-1400PUHL2 is designed for dissipation of electric energy of traction motors in the mode of electric braking of diesel locomotive. The blocks can be used for loading of diesel generator, during adjustment works and testing of diesel locomotive without loading on water rheostat. Structurally, the blocks are made in the form of a box, inside of which tape resistors are located. The design of the housing of the blocks provides the possibility of replacing any ribbon resistor during maintenance of the blocks in operation.
