Adhesion additive Azol 1004

Adhesion additive Azol 1004 is used to improve the adhesion of bitumen and polymer-bitumen binders to the mineral part of asphalt concrete mixtures prepared on the main rocks in road construction. Adhesion additive Azol 1004 is a surface-active substance (surfactant) of anionic type on the basis of natural products and chemical additives. The conducted studies have shown that the adhesion additive Azol 1004 produced by JSC "Kotlass Chemical Plant" when introduced into viscous oil road bitumen allows:
-provide adhesion of bitumen with mineral part of asphalt-concrete mixture of basic rocks and their mixtures, thereby increasing compressive strength, shear- and crack resistance of the pavement;
-reduce water saturation of asphalt concrete mixtures, increase water resistance and long-term water resistance of the pavement;
- reduce bitumen consumption in the production of sand mixtures;
-improve the workability of asphalt concrete mixtures, especially at the end of the construction period....
