EliteTest E11 Hydrophilic Emulsifier for Safe and Effective Penetrant Removal

Emulsifier "Elitest E11" is used to remove excess postemulsified luminescent penetrants from the surface of the controlled product. Interacting with the penetrant, the emulsifier forms a mixture that can be easily washed off with water. The main function of the emulsifier is to minimise background luminescence and increase the contrast and brightness of the indicator pattern without washing out the penetrant from the defect cavities.

Before using the emulsifier, the product is washed in clean water to wash away most of the penetrant and prolong the life of the emulsifier aqueous solution. The emulsifier is then applied to the product. Excess emulsifier is also washed off with clean water.

The permissible temperature of the controlled products is from +5 to +50 °C. According to GOST R ISO 3452-2-2009 emulsifier "Elitest E11" belongs to type I, method D (composition for removal of excess penetrating agent). It is produced in Russia, in Nizhny Novgorod.
