The device has an actuating element designed to transfer the device by mechanical action from the standby mode to the activation mode. The main power source of the device is a lithium battery with nominal operating voltage of 3.0 V and capacity of 1.2 A?h (type CR123A). Backup power supply of the device is a lithium battery with nominal operating voltage of 3.0 V and capacity of 0.2 A?h (type CR2032). The batteries are supplied already installed in the device. To switch on the device it is necessary to remove the insulating tape.
