Structurally, the base of the apparatus has a cylindrical body limiting the structural movement of the apparatus.
It is not included in the coupling, it is supplied separately for use in combination with the inter-car coupling device of BSU-TM136 type.
It is used on passenger rolling stock of locomotive traction produced by JSC "TVZ" and motorcar rolling stock produced by JSC "DMZ".
