The UEV-4m reference time device is designed to work as part of the unified metro time system. According to its characteristics it completely replaces the UEV product, which is in operation in the underground, in addition, it has the ability to be corrected every hour from the GPS satellite system.

The UEV-4m reference time device is designed to count down the current time and issue a single coded installation signal for ESICh-M complexes installed at metro stations. The device is designed for operation in the conditions of crossing rooms of the underground.

In terms of resistance to climatic factors during operation UEV-4m corresponds to classification group K1 according to OST 32.146-2000, but for operation at ambient air temperature from +10C to +400C. According to the degree of protection of the shell, the UEV-4m control unit is made in a dustproof and splash-proof enclosure of IP 65 group according to GOST 14254-96.
