ثبت کننده مکالمات لوکوموتیوی RPL-2M2 (از این پس RPL) برای ثبت مکالمات بین تیم لوکوموتیو و دیسپچر از طریق کانال‌های رادیویی، ثبت اجرای مقررات مکالمات بین راننده و کمک راننده هنگام حرکت قطار و در حین حرکت طراحی شده است. ضبط‌های RPL شامل اطلاعاتی درباره کد انبار و شماره شناسایی لوکوموتیو و همچنین شماره کارخانه RPL است.

با اتصال RPL-2M2 به KLU-B از طریق دروازه-CAN، ضبط با پیوند به مختصات مسیر، زمان، وضعیت سیگنال لوکوموتیو، سرعت واقعی و مجاز انجام می‌شود. مختصات مسیر، وضعیت سیگنال لوکوموتیو، سرعت واقعی و مجاز، فشار در خط ترمز به طور همزمان با ضبط مکالمات توسط RPL ثبت می‌شود.
