The device is designed for correction, fixation and unloading of the lower limb. The apparatus consists of shin and foot sleeves connected by joints that provide motion at the ankle joint in the sagittal plane.
Ankle joints with limited plantar and dorsal flexion, limited plantar and dorsal flexion extension, no restriction, and support for the sagging foot. Manufactured by vacuum moulding of thermoplastics, lamination of carbon and textile materials, prepregs, thermosetting composite materials according to an individual impression.
The softening inlay is made of foam, polypropylene, polyethylene. Depending on the individual needs of the patient, additional foot fixation, inlay shoe made of polyethylene or HTV silicones can be used.
The fastening is made in the form of a Velcro tape.
