"Wound-healing agent "Hitokol-SHD" is intended for treatment of infected wounds of different depth (from superficial to deep), such as abrasions, cuts, bruised and lacerated wounds, trophic ulcers and pressure sores, burns of II-IIIa degree of different etiology, as well as to accelerate epithelialisation of foci of erosions and ulcers on the skin; for temporary closure after surgical treatment of IIIb degree burn wounds in order to prepare for autodermoplasty. This remedy can be used at all stages of the wound process, as well as in sluggish long non-healing wounds of various etiologies.
The product can be used in surgery, plastic surgery, dental surgery, traumatology, combustiology.
The product of single application is a porous biodegradable plate of light brown colour
Wound-healing effect of the product is provided due to its high sorption activity on wound exudate, accompanied by gel formation.
