A collapsible plate heat exchanger is a series of gasketed corrugated metal plates alternating and studded together between frames to form channels through which hot and cold media flow. The heat transfer surface area of the plate heat exchanger can be readily reduced or increased as required by simply adding or removing plates.
In one plate heat exchanger can be realised a two-stage hot water supply system, which allows to save significantly on the equipment itself, on its installation and to reduce the required space for its installation. This equipment is actively used in systems:
-heat supply as a water heater,
- in refrigeration and air conditioning as condenser and evaporator, partial condenser,
- in hydraulic systems as an oil cooler.
