The silencer is designed to reduce the noise level at emission of various media: water vapour, flue gases, natural gas, other media.
Composition:
1 Throttle unit.
Designed for smooth throttling, reduction of velocity and expansion of steam flow. It includes a number of remote from each other perforated shells with different cross-sectional areas increased towards the steam outlet.
The total generated noise is reduced.
2 Dissipative part.
It is a part with several liners (cassettes) containing sound absorbing material wrapped in glass fabric.
A cover is installed at the outlet of the sound attenuator to protect atmospheric precipitation from getting inside.
In the lower part of the sound attenuator there is a drainage pipe for condensate drainage.
The vapour inlet connection is compensated.
