- Measuring the flow rates and temperatures at the inlet and outlet of hot and cold coolants.
- Consolidation of information about the physical essence of heat transfer from hot to cold coolant and analysis of factors affecting the optimisation of the process.
- Determination of heat transfer coefficients in recuperative heat exchangers at direct and countercurrent schemes of coolant flow.
- Experimental study of the operation of shell-and-tube and plate heat exchangers with determination of their thermal load.
