1. Diffusers are designed for installation in air-cooling units (ACU) or fan cooling towers (FC).
The design features of the diffuser contribute to the equalisation of air flow velocities before entering the section.
1.1 Diffuser Composition
Diffusers consist of longitudinally solid fibreglass panels, manufactured by injection moulding with thermal curing, with volumetric stiffeners. The diffusers are equipped with lower metal and upper fibreglass power belts.
Fasteners are made of galvanised steel. For convenient maintenance of diffusers with height more than 1.5m, an inspection hatch is provided in one of the sections.
1.2 Technical characteristics of diffusers
Diffuser sections are made of fibreglass with smooth transitions between sections of different diameters. Diffusers are manufactured with wheel cross-section diameters (m) from 2.52m to 10.6m.
