•What are the roll sizes and minimum order quantities?
Upholstery fabric ships in rolls of roughly 25-50 meters at 140-150 cm width. Stocked designs sell from one roll; weaving a specific tapestry design to order typically starts at 300-500 meters. A furniture factory's practical first order is a mixed set of stocked designs - one or two rolls each - to test sewing and market response.
•Can I get fabrics treated for stain resistance or flame retardancy?
Finishing options exist but are article-specific: some upholstery cloths take water- and stain-repellent impregnation, and flame-retardant treatment is available mainly for contract-furniture articles. State the requirement at inquiry, because treatment is applied during finishing, not afterwards. Certificates for the treatment accompany the batch where your hotel or office project requires proof.
•Will the same design be available when I reorder next year?
Core tapestry designs stay in mills' programs for years, but color baths vary slightly batch to batch, as with any dyed textile.
