The model is designed to teach tracheostomy care skills. The model has mouth and nasal passages, pharynx, epiglottis, trachea, oesophagus, tracheostomy site and ring cartilage.
The mouth and mandible are mobile and allow oral aspiration. The trachea branches into the left and right bronchial tree.
Students can practice aspiration techniques, proper cuff inflation, dressings, and other manipulations.
