The cable contains one optical fibre in a buffer coating. The optical fibre, together with loosely laid water-blocking strands, is contained in an optical module.
The module is spirally overlaid with reinforcing aramid filaments and a sheath made of a non-combustible, halogen-free polymer composition with low smoke emission. The buffer coating is made in blue colour.
The cable sheath is made of black colour, resistant to ultraviolet radiation. By agreement with the customer the colour of buffer coating and sheath can be changed.
Fully dielectric; UV-resistant; Does not spread combustion.
