Часто задаваемые вопросы
•What terry densities should a hotel or laundry order?
Common hotel practice is roughly 400-450 g/m2 for hand and bath towels in mid-range properties and 500 g/m2 and up for premium lines. Heavier is not always better: high-density towels dry slower and cost more per laundering cycle. Russian mills quote by g/m2, so request samples at two densities and run them through your laundry before deciding.
•Why would I buy waffle fabric instead of finished towels?
Converters and workwear sewers buy waffle cloth by the roll because cutting and hemming locally is cheap and lets them produce any size on demand - kitchen towels, medical wipes, spa wraps. Roll fabric also ships denser than finished goods. If you have no sewing capacity, finished towels with your label are the simpler route.
•Can towels carry my brand, and at what volumes?
Embroidery on stock towels starts at modest quantities, typically 300-500 pieces per design. Woven jacquard borders with your logo are loom work and need roughly 1,000-3,000 pieces per size to justify setup. Printed care labels and barcoded packing in your language are routine at any wholesale volume - just supply the artwork.
•How are towels packed for export and how much fits a container?
Standard export packing is compressed bales or cartons with inner polybags. Compression matters: terry is bulky, and baling can cut volume by a third or more. As a rough orientation, a 20-foot container takes around 8-10 tons of baled towels. Suppliers provide exact carton plans with the proforma.
•What payment and lead time should a first-time buyer expect?
Typical terms are 30-50 percent advance, balance before shipment, with the currency and banking route agreed case by case. Production of a custom-size order takes 20-40 days; stock white programs ship faster. Add 10-18 days overland to Central Asia or about a month by sea to the Gulf, Africa or Latin America.
