Yenisei KEM-4K Impulse Electromagnetic Source for Geophysical Surveys

The source "Yenisei-KEM-4K" is designed for prospecting and exploration of oil and gas, ore deposits by seismic survey methods, borehole surveys by VSP, MSC, as well as by MPV method. The distinctive feature of the source is its mobility, which allows the source to move to the place of work on public roads. It has four signal emitters, which provides flexible adjustment of the impact force on the ground half-space during shallow-depth investigations of the Earth crust. The source does not harm the environment as it is designed in such a way that it converts all the energy spent on excitation into elastic deformations and does not destroy soil and vegetation cover. The depth of the die is a few millimetres. The source is powered by a 6kW generator, unlike foreign analogues that require 100kW of power for excitation.
