Snowmobile wheeled STM-3993 is designed for use mainly on poorly bearing soils in various climatic conditions for transportation of people and cargoes, installation of various equipment during geological exploration surveys, construction and maintenance of oil and gas pipelines, power lines, communication lines, railway tracks, delivery of shift services to work sites, delivery of personnel and equipment for rescue work and evacuation of victims from the zone of natural disasters and for other needs.
The snowmobile is a self-propelled off-road vehicle and belongs to the category of self-propelled machines "C". It is made on the basis of UAZ-2924 vehicle in "U" version according to GOST 15150 and is designed for operation at ambient air temperature from minus 40°? to plus 40°?.
