The Farabef hook has two working parts that are bent at right angles. One of them fixes the wound edges or large vessels, while the second one is held securely by hand or other means. The ends of these hooks have a rounded atraumatic shape. It is used to widen and hold the edges of the wound or fixation of dense tissues during surgery.
