Voltage Transformer NOM Series for Measurement and Protection Applications

Voltage transformers NOM-6, NOM-10, NOM-15 are designed to transmit the signal of measuring information to measuring instruments, protection devices, automation, signalling and control in electrical networks of alternating current of industrial frequency. The principle of operation of voltage transformers is based on conversion by means of electromagnetic induction of alternating current of one voltage into alternating current of another voltage at constant frequency and without significant power losses. The transformer consists of an active part, an oil-tight tank with a cover, high-voltage and low-voltage bushings, an oil refill plug, a dipstick for determining the oil level in the transformer and a bracket for lifting the transformer. The core-type transformer magnetic core is made of cold-rolled electrical steel with insulating coating. The winding construction is multilayer, cylindrical, winding wire is copper. Transformers are made with one secondary winding.
