Description
The apparatus is designed to compensate for the lost functions of the vocal cords and partial rehabilitation of the voice in laryngectomised people by excitation of sound vibrations in the resonator cavities of the mouth, replacing the sound vibrations of the vocal cords. The sound field is created by transmitting the vibrations of the membrane of the device through the cervical chin region and converts them into speech by means of normal movements of the articulatory organs.
