VM-1 - scrubber with a flow velocity of 1.0 m/s, resistance up to 600 Pa. Model wet gas scrubber vertical type VM is designed to clean and neutralise the air from harmful substances present: aerosols and gaseous emissions, including vapours of various types of acids. This apparatus can capture vapours and aerosols of acids: 1. Hydrochloric acid (HCl) ;2. Sulphuric acid (H2SO4); 3. Nitric acid and nitric acid (HNO3); 4. Carbonic acid (H2SO3)5. Other types of acids and substances with acutely directed mechanism of action. Decarbonisation and absorption of various harmful gases and substances from gas-air or gas mixture is also carried out in this apparatus: 1. Nitrogen oxides (NO, NO2); 2. Hydrogen cyanide (HCN); 3. Ammonia (NH3); 4. Carbon oxides (CO, CO2); 5. Sulfur oxides (SO2, SO3); 6. Chlorine (Cl2); 7. Bromine vapour (Br2), Hydrogen bromide (HBr); 8. Other gases that are not allowed to be released into the atmosphere.
