Versatile Road Combination Machine ED 244A for Year-Round Use

Combined road machine ED-244A is characterised by maximum versatility and high reliability. Its attachments allow to use the machine in winter for distribution of de-icing materials (sand and salt mixture, pure salt with moistening, liquid reagents), patrol and high-speed snow clearing of the carriageway from snow drifts, clearing of snow and ice from bus stops, recreation areas, etc. In summer - for watering and watering of roadways.

In summer - for watering and washing the road surface, sweeping away rubbish from the carriageway, washing road signs, elements of road furnishings and maintenance of road barriers (bollards, baffle bar), water intake from the reservoir. The body of sand-spreading and tank of water-washing equipment have a special quick-release system, which allows mounting/dismounting of the equipment without additional lifting mechanisms on any site with a level surface within 15 minutes. Salt spreading equipment is manufactured with automatic control system of density and width of spreading irrespective of vehicle speed.

The body design features include a new metering mechanism, the gate valve of which is equipped with a protection mechanism. The design of the spreading mechanism includes a moistening device. Plastic tanks of the humidifying system are installed on the sides of the body.

In addition, the machine can be used in all-season mode for transporting bulk and other materials in the tipper mode, as well as for work with other road-building machines.
