The main features of the design of the knife gate valve (guillotine-type gate valve):
- Gate knife gate valve of unidirectional action, interflange type of connection.
- One-piece cast iron or steel body with supporting guides and sealing wedges for the knife.
- High flow capacity at low differential pressure.
- Different materials of seat seals and packing can be used.
- Valve end spacing (construction length) according to Valstok-Welstock standards.
- The arrow on the gate valve body indicates the recommended direction of flow.
