Vacuum electrothermal plant KB 148

Vacuum electrothermal unit of elevator type KB 148 is designed for plasticiser removal in a rarefied environment with argon purging at a temperature up to 800C and subsequent sintering of boron carbide insert blanks in an argon protective environment at a temperature up to 2300C. The unit consists of the following main elements: 1. Furnace tank (inside the furnace tank there is thermal insulation, heating unit, table and tooling with the processed inserts) 2. Vacuum system 3. Temperature control and maintenance system 4. Inert gas supply system 5. Control system 6. Power section 7. Cooling system 8. Loading and unloading system 9. Plasticiser recovery and removal system 10. Frame structure on which the furnace elements are located 11. Safety elements. The equipment is floor-standing, foundation-less type.
