Description
Vacuum switches RIM BB are designed for:
- switching of high-voltage electric circuits during normal and emergency modes in networks of three-phase alternating current with frequency 50 Hz with rated voltage up to 10 kV and rated switching currents 630, 800, 1000 A for systems with isolated and grounded neutral;
- newly designed switchgear and CSR cabinets, for reconstruction (retrofit) of in-service switchgear and CSR cabinets;
- application as trip units and means of switching in reclosers and other devices that distribute and consume electrical energy.
The RIM BB vacuum circuit breaker is controlled by the RIM BU control unit, which is a part of the RIM BB vacuum circuit breaker. The RIM BU control unit is designed as a separate module and is intended for interaction with relay protection and automation.
