The ultraviolet disinfection unit of the VODACOM-LUCH series is a lamp in a quartz glass cover, which is installed in a stainless steel housing. Quartz covers freely transmit ultraviolet rays and are necessary to protect the lamps from contact with water. The actual disinfection of the water occurs when ultraviolet radiation is applied to the water flowing inside the housing between the quartz covers
